I was looking for an on demand low dose vaporizer when I discovered the DynaVap Vapcap M.
This device is exactly what I was searching for.
This is my 4th herbal vaporizer over the past 6 years. First I had the MFLB, then I got the Arizer Air then I got the DaVinci IQ. I still use the Air for large doses at home and the IQ for on the go.
I love the simplicity of the device. Upon receiving the device I immediately disassembled it using the guide on the DynaVap website. It is a ridiculously simple device with brilliant engineering and design.
I moved the C.C.D. to create the smaller chamber setting to ensure the lowest dose possible.
I find the first heating on the small chamber is a very low dose (which I was looking for with this device). If I begin a second heating on the same herb immediately after the first, the effect feels like a strong dose. If I leave it for a while and reheat the same dose, it feels like another lower dose. The device has a lot of versatility.
Not having to worry about batteries is nice, but using a butane torch introduces other complications too (like ensuring you have butane fuel, and that the torch is not malfunctioning)
I have read about induction heaters for the VapCap, which I am looking into (but the price is steep) but it adds in at lease 3 more 18650s to worry about charging (i have heard)
I am looking into a getting an oil lamp as a back up option to the butane lighter.
In conclusion, I really love the device and if it had existed when I first got my MFLB I may have got this instead and maybe never would have got the Air or the IQ.
